i have finally managed to put a few of my short films online, and i respect everyone here at this forum,because...well,95% of you know more and have more experience than i do,and i would like to learn from you. i ask a simple favor, view my short films, they arent very long, and i will say, they dont make much sense,if any sense at all,but that is my outlook right now. i'm not trying to sound philosophical, and i'm sure most of you that look at them, might see them as "**** " or "avante-garde blah blah blah" that is fine, but i would like to get constructive criticism. none of them have sound, because,as of now,i have been using ****** equipment, and the sound from them sounded terrible. here is the link http://thevinylera.freeservers.com/films2.htm

all require real one player. thanks

I LOVE REALPLAYER! I busted their chops when they wouldn't support Mac OS 9, but they seemed to come around and all is well.

I'm just gonna rave about one edit that you did. It's near the end of your film, and the guy is sitting down, starts to get up, and in the next shot we see his back to the camera as he walks away. A marvelous edit on action, bravo.

Didn't like the way the sound track was all over the place, hissy, quiet, musical at times, but I assume you meant to do that.

    Congratulations, I didn't get it.

    reduce the size
use the soronson codec and adjust the detail
use mpeg4 sound and reduce the bitrate per second

    bingo...

i watched the three minute one, i thought it was okay ... but it has put me off watching the twelve or nine minute pieces ....

i liked the soundtrack, i think it conveyed a rather dark theme

the actual visual content? reminded me of some crazy late 60s/early 70s triporamas

if the piece had something to say, it didn't speak to me
